This couple right here has ventured through this covid mess SO extremely graceful!

They ended up having to hop around venues some, but that didn’t stop them! They ended up having their wedding with their family and friends on the Spirit of Norfolk with getting ready and some portraits at the Hilton Norfolk The Main.

Wedding days like theirs are my favorite. We weren’t rushed through the day. While it was very hot, we were able to end with some gorgeous sunset photos on the top of the ship. They were joyful and their families were both extremely sweet and welcoming. Being very family oriented myself, it is always such a blessing that my couples are family oriented as well and end up treating me like family!

Let me tell you! Their families had LITERALLY the BEST toasts during their reception that I have ever heard! Her momma and daddy had the most heartfelt and genuine words to say about them and admired the love they already have for each other while ending with some great advice. Her brothers were her bridesmen and they put together a slideshow of lessons they’ve learned from her over the years and gave Tim some great tips hahaha. And Tim’s brothers ended with some encouraging words for them! The toasts definitely brought out all the emotions from everyone - tears, laughs and some true belly laughs haha!

Lauren and Tim have such a bright future ahead. I can’t wait to see where this amazing yet crazy life takes them!
