Josh & Emmy were one of my very first wedding couples. I have photographed their engagement, wedding, maternity and now their sweet addition, Lily Rae!

We were all in youth group together in middle/high school. It seems so crazy that I have now photographed all these life changing moments for them! They reached out asking if I could come to their home in Mechanicsville, Virginia and photograph their sweet girl, so I of course did!!

Lily Rae is one of the cutest babies!! She has a perfect skin tone, was as sweet as can be and is the cutest little chunk!! During their session they even incorporated their pup, Bailey who is almost two and is extremely well trained with a book of tricks that she can do! It is always such an honor when new and “old” clients reach out inviting me into their home for such a special time in their lives. And I love that each session is different because every home that I enter is different, representing their personalities, their family. These sessions represent their life, the stage my clients are in right then. Houses are often messy and sometimes the house isn’t “up to par” like they wanted, whether that be decor, paint, etc. - These are all things that can be worked around. I love the challenge that each session brings. These sessions warm my heart, the joy that flow out of the parents is contagious.
