PURPOSE

Last year my word was TRUST, which was absolutely perfect for 2017. I was super busy with business, planning our wedding, packing to moving in with Trav and adjusting to life when we came home from our honeymoon - LOTS was going on, LOTS of change was happening, which I do not and did not handle well. I trusted God to provide for my business and He DID! I trusted Him to guide me through the change of moving, being newly married and that whole nine yards and He DID! I trusted Him through settling into my new home, to settling into living with my husband, to being married and He came through, AGAIN. In 2017, I learned to TRUST Him and it was exactly what I needed. (There is a lot more to this, which I hope to blog one day when I’m feeling much more vulnerable!)

My word for 2018 is PURPOSE. I kept this on the down low for awhile because I was feeling confused about it, but after lots of prayer, it became official!

We are a little over a month into 2018 and it has already been so true to this year. We have already had trials this year that have had us pray and question what our purpose is and where He wants us. We just have to remember - There is a PURPOSE for every pain. There is a PURPOSE for my business. There is a PURPOSE for Travis and I and where we will end up in life together. There is a PURPOSE for me. There is a PURPOSE for Travis. THERE IS A PURPOSE - We just need to find it.

Some scripture that goes well with PURPOSE, that I love:

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find when you seek me wholeheartedly.” (Jeremiah 29:11-13)

When the time is right, I, The Lord, will make it happen. (Isaiah 60:22)

The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me. (Psalm 138:8)

It is in Christ that we find out who we are and what we’re living for. (Ephesians 1:11)

To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven. (Ecclesiastes 3:1)

Many are the plans in the person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails. (Proverbs 19:21)

Perhaps this is the moment for which you have been created for. (Esther 4:14)

I chose you. I wanted you. I appointed you. I set you where you are. (John 15:16)

Before you were born, I set you apart. (Jeremiah 1:5)

You, too, have a purpose! Find that this year!
